Tooth Whitening-

This has become a very popular procedure and has received much publicity in the press. We at ‘HARBOURWAY’ on behalf of our patients, have looked most carefully at all methods available and have finally arrived at the Opalescence system. This gives extremely good results, which are controlled totally by the patient deciding when they are happy with the result. Please ask at reception for further details.

Veneers-

This is a thin layer of tooth coloured porcelain, bonded to your own teeth. It involves a relatively simple procedure in the surgery and can be used to alter the colour, contour or shape of your teeth.

White Fillings /Inlays-

In the majority of cases, white filling material is now used. This is so that your fillings blend in with your teeth. Inlays are used when the tooth requires further strength. They are made of porcelain and constructed at the laboratory. Both methods are far more pleasing to the eye than mercury amalgam metal fillings.

Crowns /Bridges -

Crowns are used to completely cover a broken or unattractive tooth. They look like your own teeth when made of porcelain. It is also possible to have a crown made of gold - ask in the surgery for more detail. Bridges are used to replace a missing tooth. Again they look like your own and are fixed permanently in your mouth.
